Rippelle respects your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of all data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how.
What Data We Store
When you use Rippelle, we may store the following data associated with your account:
- Your account identifiers (username, avatar name)
- OAuth access tokens for connected platforms (Facebook, Instagram)
- Webhook URLs (Discord)
- API credentials for connected services (Bluesky, Plurk, SmartBots)
- Content you submitted for publication (images, text, captions)
- Posting history and scheduling data
- Technical logs (IP addresses, error logs — retained up to 90 days)
How to Request Deletion
1
Disconnect your accounts (optional but recommended)
If you still have access to Rippelle, disconnect all your social media accounts from the platform first. This immediately revokes Rippelle's access to post on your behalf.
2
Send a deletion request
Send an email to the address below with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- Your Rippelle username or the name you used to register
- The Second Life avatar name associated with your account
3
We process your request
Within 30 days of receiving your request, we will:
- Delete all your personal data from our database
- Delete all stored authentication tokens and API keys
- Delete all content data (images, text, scheduling data)
- Remove your posting history
- Send you a confirmation email once deletion is complete
Note: Once your data is deleted, this action cannot be undone. You will need to reconnect your accounts and set up Rippelle again if you wish to use the Service in the future.
Facebook & Instagram Users
If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to Rippelle, you can also revoke Rippelle's access directly from your Meta account settings:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites
- Find "Rippelle" and click Remove
This will immediately revoke our access tokens. Combined with a deletion request to us, this ensures complete removal of your data.
Automatic Data Deletion
Even without a manual request, the following automatic deletions apply:
- Content data (images, text): Deleted shortly after successful publication
- Technical logs: Automatically deleted after 90 days
- Expired tokens: Removed when they can no longer be refreshed
